My little fatty
Okay, so according to Plunket he isn’t fat - but Harrison got weighed and measured today and he is now 9.3kg and 67.5cm. So in the last month he has grown 2 cm and 1.2kg. The woman at Plunket said that as he becomes more active he will lose some weight. Harrison’s 3rd cousin is 15 months old and weighs about 11kg. Although, according to relatives, he is small. And his Mummy is quite small. Who knows?
Anyway, Harrison had a fantastic time in Whangarei, hanging out with his Poppa and Auntie Em. And getting many, many “kisses” from Niki (the dog). He is nearly rolling over, it’s just he hasn’t quite figured out what to do with his legs. He sits up by himself for ages now and we have put down great, big cushions (thank-you Auntie Kathy - whoever knew they would get so much use?) and he sits up on those. This way, when he eventually collapses, it doesn’t hurt.
Harrison has very strong legs and stands (with help) very well. So maybe a walker instead of a crawler?
I’m dreading the day when he just suddenly runs for it and I’m left standing there going “what just happened???”
