I should have done this sooner.
It has come to my attention that Dylan (being the big silly person that he is) has neglected to let people know Harrison’s full name. So, for those who don’t know, here it is . . .
Harrison Marcus Reeve
and we have the birth certificate to prove it.
Harrison and I just spent a week and a bit in Whangarei with my parents and little sister (otherwise known as Nana, Poppa and Aunty Em).
So we missed out on participating in the 48 Hour Film but there is always next time.
Harrison is starting to smile (without it being caused by excess gas) and he is squeaking a lot more. Kind of like speaking but more high pitched and harder to interpret.
He is also an expert vomiter and manages to get it on everything I am wearing at the time. It is nice to know that he is developing these skills early as they will come in handy later on in life. No, I am not exactly sure how but I’m sure they will.
Harrison is also a lot more alert and playful. 4am is an excellent time to want to play.
A visit from the midwife this morning has confirmed our suspicions that he is getting bigger - he now weighs 3.19 kg. So he will, hopefully, soon fit into newborn sized clothing.
I would also like to point out that Harrison looks a lot like Yoda, just not as green.
Is it wrong to think that your baby looks somewhat like an alien?
